This REL Northwest webinar recording checks out how the experiences of rural schools who got School Improvement Grant (SIG) financing might notify state and regional preparations for fulfilling the needs of school enhancement efforts under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). The webinar functions Education Northwest’s Dr. Caitlin Scott, primary private investigator of a 2016 research study that surveyed principals of rural schools across the country that were designated as in requirement of enhancement and executed the change design. Highlighting an essential finding of the research study, Scott describes the function of technical help in rural school turn-around efforts. She is signed up with by a panel of rural specialists who share their experiences with technical help under SIG application.
